This intimate enclave sits in an incredible setting with a 14-acre wooded urban creek, which joins the neighborhood to the Historic District. Residents enjoy two beautifully landscaped parks, one with an outdoor amphitheater with picnic area and outdoor grilling station, making it perfect for all types of events. In another park, a meditation area with benches is centered around a beautiful antique carved limestone angel imported from France.
- Promenade Park provides a green visual terminus to Yosemite at the entry. A bosque of pond cypress and horsetail reed meander along a dry stream bed, creating a green-friendly route for storm water as well as a scenic feature year 'round. Native grasses undulate on the rolling contours above the stream bed, and native rocks recovered from the site provide boundaries for the stream. Four homesites front onto this park.
- Warden Creek Greenbelt courses through the community from the north to the south and features a urban stream. This stream is heavily wooded with native elm and cedar elm and provides a bit of preserved nature in the middle of the community. An adjacent publicly accessible all-weather trail connects Chapel Hill residents with the Historic District to the north and Towne Lake Park to the south.
